“We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.”

So I had a pretty eventful day after updating the blog this morning. The first thing that happened was Cindy asking me to cut up some pig ears (that still had the skin + hair) for Orion (our Finnish Lapphund). That was probably one of the most foul smelling things I've ever smelled in my life. It was like driving through the cow area down highway 5 (California) all in my kitchen. This was our first time feeding the ears to Orion, and he was pretty dang confused on what was going on. We had to hold the ear for him so he knew it was edible and it probably took him about 5 minutes to finish a QUARTER of an ear. Yes, it smelled the entire time .____.

Besides that, I studied up on more Node.

To celebrate my fellowship ending and Cindy getting into MakerSquare + quitting job, we went to Melting Pot in San Mateo. Did you know they have an all you can eat four course fondue menu? Only on Fridays before 6 in San Mateo. We had 3 rounds of cheese fondue (different flavors), two salads, skipped entree, and two rounds of dessert fondue. Was it worth the price (50 per head)? YOU BETCHA. We don't care much for the entree, if we wanted to eat boiled meat we would have gone to shabu shabu or some equivalent. Everything was pretty amazing, and after the meal Cindy and I pretty much rolled out of the restaurant. Spent the next 45 minutes driving back to Fremont and learned more Node.

Today was a victorious day.

Some things I'm looking forward to:

-PENTATONIX IN SAN JOSE IN OCTOBER

-WARCRAFT MOVIE IN TWO WEEKS

-BREAKFAST
